AFPC
AFPC is the French Association of Card Manufacturers
and Service Bureau founded in 1988. It represents
the professionals of the smart card and plastic
card industry in France. AFPC is an independent
and autonomous association, which has evolved
from the need to oversee the entire range
of processes associated with card production
and use.
European Experts
in Electronic Transactions
(EESTEL)
EESTEL is an association of independent experts
in the field of smart card technologies and
electronic transactions, which means to fulfill
its mission by offering a complete range
of products and services. EESTEL was born
in 1998 from the need of large organisations
to find full competence, and experience in
an entity independent from larger industrial
and financial groups. Since then, the association
has always been working on major projects
(consultancy for payment systems) and delivering
products (production test tools) all over
the world.
Eurosmart
EUROSMART is an international
association
located in Brussels
representing the Voice
of the Smart Card
Industry for multi-sector
applications (created
in 1995). The Association
is a non-profit organization
committed to
expanding the world’s
smart card market,
developing smart
card standards and continuously
improving quality
and security applications.
Manufacturers of
smart cards, semiconductors,
terminals, equipment
for smart cards system
integrators, application
developers and issuers
gather and work into
dedicated working groups
on security, marketing,
and communication
issues. Through its
activities, Eurosmart
actively support
the development of the smart
card business and
act as a catalyst and forum
for the smart card
stakeholders.

(ISCAN)
ISCAN - is an international alliance of independent
Smart Card associations combining manufacturers,
systems integrators, issuers, potential issuers
and economic or social actors involved in
the Smart Card activities. ISCAN's major
purpose is to support the proliferation of
Smart Card usage worldwide by promoting results
of tasks and facilitating exchanges of views
between participating national, continental
and global member Associations. By gathering
their own experience worldwide, ISCAN will
be a major forum to focus on strategic and
technical issues and to form a global view
of the Smart Card industry.

(NACCU)
Smart Card Alliance
The Smart Card Alliance is a not-for profit,
multi-industry association of member firms
working to accelerate the widespread acceptance
of multiple application smart card technology.
Through specific projects such as education
programs, market research, advocacy, industry
relations, and open forums the Alliance keeps
its members connected to industry leaders

Smart Card Forum
of India
Smart Card Forum
of India (SCAFI), is a not
for profit association
of smart card vendors,
systems integrators,
chip manufacturers,
terminal/reader manufacturers,

in India. SCAFI was
launched in 1999
to promote Smart Card technology
and its applications
in India and to help
formulate national
goals for sustained and
vibrant smart card
industry in the country.
Smart Card Society
of Southern Africa
The Society is the Southern African branch
of a worldwide organisation, consisting of
manufacturers, suppliers,' users and potential
users of smart card technology. Our mission
is to encourage and stimulate the use of
smart card technology, allowing our members
to enjoy the benefits of the technology.
