GlobalPlatform Value Proposition For Identity
Management
This full-day Workshop is based on the recently
released GlobalPlatform White Paper titled
'The GlobalPlatform Value Proposition for
Identity Management.' GlobalPlatform will
provide a thorough examination of a smart-card
based identity credentialing eco-system -
from the point of enrollment, to issuance
and card management. This session will provide
practical information about GlobalPlatform
specifications and how they are applied to
a real-world implementation - the US PIV
Card.
The session will
also provide technical
training
on its Card and Systems
Specifications with
special attention
given to individual
'sub-system'
specifications such
as such as GlobalPlatform's
Smart Card Management
System (SCMS) and
Messaging
specifications. Delegates
who attend this
workshop will develop
a deep understanding
of the specifications,
how they are applied
to this critical
card program, and
how they
contribute to an
environment of interoperability,
scalability and backward
compatibility.
