ACT Canada was formed in 1989 for the purposes
of promoting the use of advanced card technologies.
For the first time in our history we can
confidently say that North America has started
the transition from magnetic stripe to smart
cards. This means there are now new initiatives
we will take to ACT on behalf of our members.
